Fiona Haldane

Born in Dundee, Fiona Haldane attended The Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art between 1975-1979. She first started to exhibit in 1996 and is now recognised and one of the leading Pastel Landscape Artists of Scotland.

Fiona has become widely renowned for her richly toned portrayals of the dramatic mountain landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. She brings life to her evocative studies of the ever-changing skies and shorelines which her native Broughty Ferry and Tay Estuary.

Fiona has exhibited within several prominent galleries and her work is now enthusiastically collected throughout Scotland and can also be found in private collections throughout the UK and abroad.

‘The Road and the Miles’ series, which feature in the Arti-Farti collection, is an impressive body of work which take the viewer on a tour of some of Scotland’s most dramatic and visually penetrating locations. From the ski slopes of Glenshee in winter to the autumn colours of Glencoe and Braemar, Fiona reminds us at every turn, of the majesty and the beauty of her homeland and equally her magnificent observations of the skies and sunsets over the Tay Estuary provide fabulous images for all the lovers of Art and the Scottish landscape.
