The following is from Jack Morrocco’s website:
“Born in Edinburgh in 1953 Jack studied fine art at The Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art from 1970-1974. During his time at college Jack studied at the Hospitalfield House under the renowned Pop Artist, Peter Blake.
After his graduation, Jack was awarded a Post Graduate Year at Dundee for which he received a ‘Highly Recommended Post Diploma’, the highest award available to postgraduates at that time, and ‘The Farquhar Reid Travelling Scholarship’ which took him to Paris and Florence.
On his return from his travels, Jack set up a Design Studio whilst continuing to paint and exhibit. In 1997 Jack Morrocco made the decision to become a full-time artist and he now works from his studio at home in Fife and on The Cote d’Azur, in the south of France.”
